Thoracic Outlet Dysfunction can lead to nerve sensations and inhibit those that experience this dysfunction from performing daily tasks and activities. During this course, Massage Therapy is targeted and applied to the scalene muscle group as well as the surrounding muscle tissue and fascia along with therapeutic movements to help lengthen the fascia and help with pain management.

  • Contraindications

  • Assessment Techniques and Movements

  • Thoracic Outlet Treatments in the Supine Position

  • Thoracic Outlet Treatments in the Prone Position

The remaining tuition balance is due 2 weeks prior to class. Upon completion of this course, you will receive 8 credit hours, which you can apply to your NYS LMT registration renewal, NCBTMB certification, AMTA or ABMB renewal.
